I am deeply honoured to be selected as the 2026 recipient of the Center for Oral History and Digital Storytelling (COHDS) Award of Distinction in Oral History for my doctoral dissertation!
I have been a COHDS affiliate since my early days as an undergraduate at Concordia University. My life and career centers around oral history and storytelling. After completing this PhD, I get to teach students about the power of storytelling. Niawen’kó:wa to the adjudication committee for selecting me, and to the COHDS community for supporting me and other budding oral historians!
